I had an interview two weeks ago and they asked me the writing sample and reference information after the interview.
I called them today to ask the status, they said they still have two interviews next week. BTW, The position is open until fill.
Then I asked do you think I have a good opputunity to get this job?
He said: Put it in this way, we enjoyed the interview with you
What does it mean? positive or negative?
Thanks |

Sounds positive to me, but hard to say.
Good luck, and let us know how this turns out. Follow up politely in a few days and let them know you are very interested in working for them.

I agree, that feedback does sound really positive.
But, the frustrating thing with job applications is that you could be totally perfect for the job, but then someone else with even better knowledge, skills and experience comes along. Unfortunately not even the hiring organisation will be able to tell you how you stand untill the other 2 interviews are completed.
I'd send them a polite thank you letter, just to make sure they keep you in the front of their minds.
Good luck! |
